Our History
The Ladies of the Night (LON) started in 1997 with a small group of women who worked outside the home. They wanted to get together to golf and enjoy some social time. Little did they know then what they were about to start!
Our Charity Work
Since 2007, LON has held an annual fundraiser to give back to the community. Each year, members submit charity suggestions and vote on the recipient. Over the years, we have supported many important local organizations through the generosity of our members, volunteers, sponsors, and donors.
This year's charity is "COPE SERVICE DOGS"
COPE Service Dogs is a charitable organization that breeds, trains, and places service dogs with
individuals with physical disabilities and care facilities. Through our innovative Canines in the
Classroom program, at-risk high school students help train future service dogs—building confidence,
improving mental health, and strengthening our community. After advanced training with our
professional team, each dog is placed with a life-changing partner. From youth to seniors, COPE
Service Dogs is unleashing potential.
REG CHARITY NUMBER: BN 896771417 RR001
The LON fundraising efforts will include a Silent Auction, a variety of Prize Draws,
and of course, our Annual Tournament.
A donation of goods, certificate vouchers and services would all be greatly appreciated.
BENEFACTOR SPONSORSHIPS
We also welcome corporate sponsors to help us in our fundraising efforts. This year, we are also offering one Corporation to be considered the Benefactor: for $10,000.00 They will have an opportunity to have their Company Name and Logo on all social, print and broadcast media. This is a great opportunity for an organization to showcase their commitment and support to our local community.
OTHER SPONSORSHIPS
Platinum for $2,500 ,Diamond for $1,000, Gold for $500 and Silver for $250.
We are also offering the opportunity to be a hole sponsor with recognition at the hole and of course on our tent cards on the table at dinner. Hole sponsorship costs $150.
Your thoughtful consideration of our request is greatly appreciated.

“The LON fills a special place in my heart. I did not golf until moving to Horseshoe and joined to learn, meet people and socialize. I love this special group of women who combine golf, fun, lively conversation and wine after the game without any pressure to excel... just enjoy!” – Bev Jackson, Former "Madam" and longtime member (on right, pictured here with another longtime member and leader of the Tuesday morning league at Horseshoe, Lesley Agnew)
